Another lovely, outdoor photo shoot with this wonderful family at their home in Chelmsford, Essex. The Hodges family get regular updates to capture their family growing around every 6 months and it’s just so special - the first time I met them, they just had little Darcy and she was only about 4 months old. It’s the best feeling when a family chooses me to be their family photographer and have picked me because they like my natural, documentary style. These guys now feel more like friends!
Just a little ramble that I wanted to talk about - I’ve heard people talk about how the newest iPhones have such good cameras that they don’t see the need to get professional photos done - but let’s be honest, it’s really not the same. Firstly it means you can all be in the photos at the same time as a family and the quality and file sizes are unmatched - It means you can print these as big as you’d like with no pixelation! It’s also just treating yourself to something - fun, family time together, creating memories and having them photographed so that you can have them displayed in your home.
