At the end of the summer I photographed Lisa and Matt’s Wedding day at Mulberry House in Ongar, Essex.

I had photographed Lisa and Matt’s engagement session the year before so to see them again on their Wedding day was so lovely having known them already.

Mulberry house is hands down one of my favourite wedding venues in Essex to photograph at for so many reasons!

Firstly, it really is just a stunning venue with so many gorgeous spots for couple portraits and group photos and the venue itself just flows so nicely!

Every time I arrive to a wedding at Mulberry House for a Wedding, I see the attention to detail from the gardeners as they freshly mow the grass and prune away at anything that needs pruning. Everything is so pristine!

The lake and bridge is my go-to spot for the group photos as it’s just such a lovely feature of the venue. Of course you also have the front of the house and a whole range of backdrops within the grounds.

I’ve photographed Weddings at Mulberry house throughout different times in the year, spring, summer and autumn and it never looks less beautiful in a particular season.

There’s a field area that I love to use for couple portraits at Mulberry House which often has long ish wheaty looking grass. Different wild flowers appear in the grass throughout the spring and summer and to me it still looks super pretty just as it is as you get closer to autumn.

I won’t go over every single spot I love for couple portraits, as this blog post would be soooo long. But you get my point, there’s lots of stunning areas to chose from.

Another reason I love shooting here is the staff. Genuinely the nicest, most helpful people that make you feel so relaxed! Very important on your wedding day!

So back to Matt and Lisa’s big day.. It was one to remember :)

As you’ll see from the photos below, I was there from when the girls were getting ready, right through to the evening.

There were so many wonderful highlights.. Like the moment Matt, Lisa’s Dad and her bridesmaids saw her in her dress for the first time, the stunning outdoor ceremony which was so beautiful, the heartfelt speeches which were full of so much laughter and emotion and the fun on the dance floor in the evening is always a laugh when people start to let loose!

I don’t offer specific Wedding packages, for example half day or full day coverage as I find this a little restricting and I never want my customers to feel like they need to be paying for more than what they’d like.

I have an hourly rate so that you can be flexible with what you’d like captured.
