Why I love those candid, natural photos in Wedding photography | Essex Wedding Photographer

I don’t know if I really have to explain why candid photos are so special. Oh course they are going to show the most natural, real moments because people aren’t aware of the photos being taken.

So whether this captures a connection between two people, raw emotion, kids playing, a romantic moment, total silliness and laughter, I go to all the lengths to get as many of these as I can during your wedding day.. Firstly, because it’s my most common request, but I can’t not shoot away when I see all these beautiful or hilarious moments happening right in front of me.

I’ll be honest, I’m an overshooter.. Yep that means I end up with way more photos to sort through but the reason I do this is because I don’t want to miss any of those magic candid moments that can happen is a blink of an eye.

And I really care! I care that you get as many of those real, raw, natural moments captured as possible so that in years to come you can look back and have those memories with you forever.

The best feeling is when customers email me after they’ve received their gallery and point out specific natural shots I’ve captured that mean a lot to them and say how happy they are that I managed to capture such a precious moment.
